Pezeshkian at UN: 'We are victims of terror.' US delegation walks out

|
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the UN General Assembly in New York. Meanwhile, the American delegation walked out of the hall during the speech. Pezeshkian said that "we are victims of terror. The U.S. does not respect any international law. It attacked our commanders, our scientists, and killed innocent children in schools - while we defend ourselves." He later claimed: "We need nuclear energy, not a nuclear bomb. Nuclear energy is part of our progress and is intended for peaceful purposes." In his speech, he displayed a picture of children killed in war.
