The Health Ministry reported Tuesday morning that the death toll of Israelis who succumbed to COVID -19 has remained on 258 since Monday evening.
There are 4,312 people currently ill with the virus of the 16,526 who had been confirmed to have contracted coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.

Hospitals are treating 203 patients 67 of whom are described to be in serious condition of which 57 are on ventilators to assist their breathing.
Thus far 11,956 people have recovered from COVID-19.
