Once upon a time it was considered inappropriate, so they would wait a bit. Today, not a second passes from the moment we are informed of another fallen soldier in battle, and already everyone begins to shout their opinion: I am against a two state solution, I am in favor of a cease-fire, I am for Netanyahu, I am against Netanyahu, and all they focus on is themselves and their opinion. So yes, you're allowed to express opinions, but why in such a repulsive and insulting way?

Each time our best people die, they leave a will, begging us to stop bickering, stay united. For them, it's not a tacky message, it's something they learned while fighting, which we need to hear and internalize or else we will cease to exist. Each of us is upset about the opposing political side or a certain demographic, but is it urgent now, to blurt it out? This is what we do for the country, when "the voice of our brothers "cries out to me from the ground?|" enough already.
Sergeant first class (res.) Ahmad Abu Latif, who before his death wrote on Facebook that "Hamas does not differentiate between Jews and Arabs." Yosefah Lazar, the mother of the late Sergeant major (res.) Matan Lazar, said yesterday after being informed of his death: "I ask everyone, be united and enough with the nonsense, so that his death would not be in vain."
So many people, like me, sit and watch you, with your important opinions, your venom, as you play this extremism ping pong.
We are angry with you, because you destroy any chance for us to live together. You are wreaking havoc with your irresponsible words. When you spew your opinions so soon after devastating news, like a baby spitting up his food. It makes us weak and it doesn't advance us anywhere.
No political side and no demographic would change their mind and apologize to you just because you have thrown enough profanity at them. The fact that you cussed someone would not make them disappear, it will only make them stay, and think that we, those who remain silent, also think like you, just because we are perceived to be from the same side.
Anyone who asks himself who is to blame for the disasters of the last three months, and the first answer that comes to his mind is not Sinwar, should do some introspection. And if there is some political reason why you don't support the families of the hostages, that doesn't make you an idealist, just a hypocrite. There isn't one of us who wouldn't go mad if it was their child, so just shut up and support them.
Now our job here is to build a better country out of the ruins
And if there is someone standing near the families of the hostages holding a sign against Netanyahu, your gentle soul should be able to handle it, while the hostages are being raped there. And if the father of one of them believes that we must continue to fight, remember that your sacred opinion doesn't interest anyone. Imagine that this was your child, and from here it's simple: show respect and shut up.
If we don't revert back to ourselves, things would be very bad here because they were already bad here, even before October 7. A little restraint, a little national responsibility. The dead cry out to you all that they have learned. Now our job here is to build a better country out of the ruins, and the person you are lashing out at now, is the worker who tomorrow will stand by you to continue our reconstruction.
