Egyptian sources told the Qatari newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that Turkey received 15 deported Palestinian prisoners who were recently released from Israeli prisons. According to the report, Malaysia and Indonesia are expected to take in additional released prisoners next week.
The sources also noted a shift in the position of two African Arab countries, which had initially agreed to accept prisoners but have now withdrawn their approval.
