Harris condemns protesters who protested violently for Hamas outside Netanyahu's speech

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris commented on Wednesday night's demonstrations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, saying on Thursday that "yesterday we saw despicable acts by unpatriotic protesters and dangerous hateful rhetoric." Harris added: "I condemn anyone associated with the brutal terrorist organization Hamas, which has vowed to destroy the State of Israel and kill Jews. Graffiti and pro-Hamas rhetoric are abhorrent and we must not tolerate it in our nation. I condemn the burning of the American flag. This flag is a symbol of our highest ideals as a nation and represents the promise of America. It must never be desecrated in this way. I support the right to demonstrate peacefully, but let's be clear: antisemitism, hatred and violence of any kind have no place in our nation."
