An Israeli delegation headed by Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar is expected to visit Cairo on Thursday to discuss new ideas for a cease-fire and hostage release deal in Gaza, the Lebanese Al Jadeed channel reported on Wednesday. The delegation will include a special envoy of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Egyptians prepared a draft proposal following talks with Hamas, that may alleviate Netanyahu's concerns that his coalition may collapse if he makes a deal, the channel said.
