Tamer Abu Alyoun, cousin of Staff Sgt. G'haleb Sliman Alnasasra, who was killed on Saturday in the Gaza Strip, said that “fear was not a word in G'haleb’s vocabulary. He was a brave man. If anyone needed help, he’d be the first to run to them. He gave with all his heart.”
He added, “We talked about how the war has brought the [Jewish and Arab] communities closer and about the unity it created. We said, ‘Wow, this is possible.’” Abu Alyoun said, “We share both sorrow and joy together. This land belongs to everyone. There’s no difference between Arab and Jewish—it’s not ‘us or them.’”
