In recent days, the IDF has airdropped into Gaza approximately seven tons of supplies and logistical equipment for the hundreds of soldiers of the commando units operating in Khan Younis. it is the first time since the Second Lebanon War in 2006 that the IDF has delivered supplies by airdrop. It is the first use of a system which enables the dropping of equipment that navigates itself to the ground forces through precise navigation capability. (Yoav Zitun)
