Israeli arrested for spying for Iran, Shin Bet, Police say

Shin Bet and Israel police said on Sunday that they arrested a 65-year-old resident of Netivot for spying for Iran. Eduard Yosepov carried out missions directed by Iranian intelligence in exchange for payment of tens of thousands of dollars," the security agencies said in a statement. The suspect was under investigation since October after coming into contact with a citizen of Azerbaijan who resides in Dubai. He was instructed to carry out surveillance, and photograph security and infrastructure installations including miitary bases, the Haifa port, the oil refineries in Haifa and the Negev Nuclear Research Center.
