IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said on Sunday that fighting in the Gaza Strip will continue throughout 2024.
"2024 will be challenging. We will be at war in Gaza, not sure if all year. We'll certainly be fighting in Gaza all year, and this will also maintain alertness on other fronts, especially the West Bank,” he told troops while on a visit to the West Bank.
"In the north, Hezbollah has decided to join this war. We are increasingly exacting a toll on them. We have a responsibility, a duty, to securely return northern residents to their homes, not out of compulsion." (Yoav Zitun)
