Hundreds of IDF reservists, veterans call for hostage deal ‘even at cost of ending war’

Hundreds of IDF reservists and veterans — including former members of elite and special operations units — signed a letter Thursday urging the government to prioritize a deal to release hostages held in Gaza, even if it means ending the war.
“This is the primary mission and our moral duty as a nation,” the letter stated. Similar appeals have recently been issued by members of the Air Force, Navy and Medical Corps.
