Senior Hamas official: Delegation travels to Cairo to discuss mediators’ 'new ideas'

A Hamas delegation has left Doha for Cairo to discuss the “new ideas” proposed by mediators regarding a potential agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip, senior Hamas officials told AFP and Sky News Arabia on Tuesday. The delegation includes senior Hamas figure Khalil al-Hayya, who heads the group’s negotiating team. According to the officials, the delegation is set to meet with Egyptian representatives to review and discuss the proposed ideas.
