Bi-2 band members freed from Thai jail, en rout to Israel

Members of the Bi-2 rock band, who were detained in Bangkok pending deportation to Russia were released and are on their way to Israel. Moscow sought their transfer to Russia over their vocal criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin but the members who also hold Israeli citizenship were after intervention from the Foreign Ministry, allowed to board a flight to Tel Aviv.
