Terrorist attacks soldier and steals her weapon....
then escapes. Five soldiers run down the terrorist and capture him instead of neutralizing him. The five soldiers chasing the subject had no idea if they were being led into an ambush and the picture seems to show that fact never entered their minds. Soldiers on duty should always be in pairs, never alone. Being alone invites attack. Chasing after a terrorist without knowing if an ambush is waiting for you is bad soldiering. The IDF has small drones that can be airborne in minutes to give situational awareness. This episode could have been a tragedy. Be better prepared. All of the soldiers chasing the terrorist had their weapons, yet not one chose to use it to bring done the attacker. Instead they blindly chased him into a wadi- where anything could have been waiting for them. This is poor training. Who would answer for this lapse in training if those five chasers came under attack?
