Immediately after the hit-and-run, police arrested the suspected driver, an Arab-Israeli in his 20s. Initially, the police suspected that the incident was a criminal incident, but later discovered that it was a terrorist attack. Exclusive footage obtained by Ynet shows the driver of the vehicle deviating from his lane and accelerating until the young man was hit.
