European foreign ministers will discuss developments in Syria when they meet in Berlin on Thursday, as well as support for Ukraine, according to a spokesperson for the German foreign ministry. "Given the dramatic events in Syria over the last few days, it will come as no surprise to you that there is also a second important topic, namely the current developments in Syria and their impact on the region and Europe," the spokesperson told reporters on Wednesday. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is set to host her counterparts from France, Poland, Spain, Italy, Britain and Ukraine for talks at a villa in the German capital on Thursday.
