Mother of slain hostage Yagev Buchshtab says autopsy shows he was executed

Esther Buchshtab , whose son Yagev was murdered in captivity by Hamas and whose body was recovered from Khan Younis three weeks ago, told the Committee for the Treatment of Holocaust Survivors on Monday that her son "was kidnapped alive and returned dead. He was murdered. Yesterday we received the autopsy report, it showed that Yagev was executed."
Esther Buchshtab said that "the IDF came close to the tunnel and the hostages were executed. This is what happens under military pressure, it doesn't return hostages alive, it kills them. I don't think the army is to blame for this. It's government policy. The army does what it's told." She added that "we see that this is repeating itself. Yagev's story is from February and it took a while before they were able to get them out, but they were executed."
