Attacks on Israelis in Amsterdam are horrendous sign of growing antisemitism, Dutch PM says

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said on Friday the attacks on Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam had been horrendous and a sign of increasing antisemitism in the Netherlands.
"I feel ashamed about what happened in the Netherlands," Schoof told reporters on the sidelines of a summit of European Union leaders in Budapest. "It has been a dreadful night."
Schoof said he would leave the summit early on Friday afternoon to return to Amsterdam.
