The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that, following the terrorist attack on Israel, Israelis with American citizenship will be eligible for tax relief and deferring the payment of taxes to the country for a year. According to estimates by the US State Department, there are more than 500,000 Israeli-Americans with dual citizenship who will be eligible for benefits. The IRS also announced that it will continue to monitor the events in Israel and that it may provide additional relief. (Daniel Edelson, New York)
