High Court to government: 'Did you ask Ronen Bar when he plans to retire before asking us to look into it?'

The justices of the High Court of Justice have replied to the government’s request that they inquire with Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar about his intended retirement date. In their response, the court asked whether the government had first approached Bar directly before turning to the High Court for intervention.
