The Gazan Hamas-controlled Health Ministry updated that the first phase of the polio vaccination operation in the Gaza Strip has ended after giving about 560,000 doses to children under the age of 10. The vaccination rate is about 87% of the designated children, while the target percentage was about 90%. The first phase of the operation took place across Gaza and took 12 days. The vaccination operation includes two more stages.
