US bases in Iraq attacked in first in 2 months, report says

The Charab al-Jir and Al-Omar bases in Syria, which host U.S. forces, were attacked overnight, marking the first such incident in two months, Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese network Al Mayadeen reported Sunday morning.
According to the report, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of pro-Iranian militias that regularly targets these bases, has not officially resumed operations against the Americans nor issued any statement on the matter. (Lior Ben-Ari)
