US Middle East envoy to visit Lebanon over UN resolution compliance

White House special envoy to the Middle East Amos Hochstein is set to visit Lebanon between Christmas and the New Year to discuss the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, diplomatic sources told Lebanese broadcaster Al Jadeed on Monday.
Hochstein is expected to meet with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Najib Mikati during the trip.
