Israir announced that it has received official approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation to operate flights to the U.S. Now the Israeli company is moving to the next stage of approvals – full compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Israir stated that it plans to launch the line around Passover 2026, and possibly even before, depending on the availability of the aircraft that will be operated on a long-term dry lease.
