Report: Egypt increases 'security measures' on border with Israel

Saudi television network Al Arabiya reported, citing Egyptian sources, that Cairo has tightened its "security measures" along the border with Israel in "response to recent events." The report stated that these decisions were made "without breaching the peace agreement with Israel.” According to the report, Egypt also informed Israel that it is taking appropriate steps to secure its borders.
