The Knesset held another plenary discussion on Wednesday on the dismissal of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, following sharp disagreements between her and the government.
Tensions flared as coalition and opposition members exchanged shouts during a speech by Likud MK Avichai Boaron, who proposed the measure.
Opposition lawmakers boycotted the vote, walking out en masse while shouting “shame.” The proposal passed with 51 votes in favor and no opposition.
Last week, the coalition suffered a setback when it failed to secure a majority for the vote, leading Boaron to call for an urgent follow-up discussion.
