IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi conducted a situational assessment Monday, emphasizing the need for heightened readiness across multiple fronts, primarily the West Bank.
“Alongside the enhanced defensive preparations in the Gaza Strip, we must be ready for significant operations in the West Bank in the coming days. This is to preempt and capture terrorists before they reach our citizens,” Halevi stated.
Halevi also instructed military commanders to prepare for the continuation of fighting in both the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, signaling a prolonged campaign against threats on Israel’s southern and northern borders.
