An Israeli fighter jet struck five gunmen in southern Syria after they opened fire at an IDF unit, the military said on Tuesday. The incident occurred in an area previously controlled by an extremist ISIS-affiliated faction.
Earlier, Syrian reports claimed that an IDF force attempted to enter the village of Kuwayya in the Daraa region near the Jordanian border, and that the IDF shelled the village with tanks.
