35 Haredim have been authorized to serve in Israel Police in recent months

Some 35 Haredi men have joined the Israel Police in recent months as part of compulsory police and civilian service, and have expressed their desire to be integrated into patrol, detective, investigation, intelligence, computers and logistics roles, according to the Israel Police. This is the sixth course for the Haredi public that was held at the National Police College in Beit Shemesh. The service is expected to be identical to regular military service.
