Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was committed to the security of the north and its residents and the war would not end until they can return home safely. Speaking in a pre recorded video address Netanyahu said Hezbollah was taken back decades. "I will bring the cease-fire to the cabinet. its duration depends on Hezbollah's compliance," adding that any violation will be met by an IDF strike. He violations include not only opening fire but also attempts to re-arm. Netanyahu said the cease-fire was necessary so that Israel could focus on the Iranian threat and because the U.S. administration withheld arms. That is about to change.
