Harvard University on Monday rejected demands from the Trump administration to alter its approach to combating antisemitism, stating that it would not comply with directives it considers beyond the scope of legal authority.
In a letter sent by attorneys representing the university, Harvard affirmed its commitment to fighting antisemitism but asserted, “Harvard is not prepared to agree to demands that go beyond the lawful authority of this or any administration.”
