French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said that Paris is considering imposing additional sanctions on West Bank settlers. He added in an interview with the French newspaper Le Parisien that "we always thought that the construction of Israeli settlements weakened the chance of a political solution. This is also the reason we decided to take sanctions against some extremist and violent settlers."
