Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government have appealed to the Supreme Court to order Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar to announce when he intends to resign and leave his position. The filing came after Bar wrote in an affidavit he submitted to the court that he intends to resign in the near future, but did not specify when.
