Memphis police arrest second teen in murder of Israeli locksmith

Memphis police arrested overnight Friday a 16-year-old boy in connection with the murder of Aviv Broek, a 21-year-old Israeli locksmith, killed last month during what police say was a staged service call. Another suspect, aged 17, was arrested last week.
Authorities allege the pair attempted to rob Broek, shooting him when he resisted and stealing his Israeli passport.
Both suspects have been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery. Tennessee law permits life sentences for minors, though it is unlikely they will face the death penalty due to their age.
