Shas religious leader passes away aged 94

Ultra-Orthodox party Shas' religious leader, Rabbi Shimon Baadani, passed away on Wednesday aged 94 following a deterioration in his medical condition after being hospitalized.
Baadani replaced the party's previous religious head, Rabbi Shalom Cohen after he passed away in August 2022.
