At the President's Office, Justice Yitzhak Amit was sworn in as the 14th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in the shadow of the crisis of trust between the government and the coalition in the judicial system - which led to the absence from the ceremony of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, and the coalition representatives on the committee for selecting judges: Settlement Minister Orit Struck and lawmaker Yitzhak Kreuzer.
