Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said on Friday that removing Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corp from the terror organizations list is an insult to its victims, after reports that the United States was considering the move.
"We find it hard to believe that the designation of the IRGC as a terror organization would be changed in exchange for a promise not to target Americans. The corps had taken part in the murder of hundreds of thousands of Syrians, have destroyed Lebanon and are killing Jews just because of their religion," the two leaders said in a statement.
The Biden administration has not confirmed the reported U.S. intent.
