IDF chief: 'Last night, we also deployed forces into Syrian territory'

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi confirmed Sunday that Israeli forces have been deployed into Syrian territory.
Addressing new Golani Brigade recruits at the Tel Hashomer induction center, Halevi said, “Ground forces are currently engaged in combat on four fronts—in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon. Last night, we also deployed forces into Syrian territory.”
