Over 30,000 visitors crowded beaches around the Sea of Galilee on Thursday, prompting the closure of parking lots due to overcrowding, according to the Union of Kinneret Cities’ control center.
The association reported that 140,000 tourists have visited the region’s beaches since the Passover holiday began, with numbers surging during the intermediate days of the festival. “Parking lots at Kinneret beaches were closed due to excessive demand,” the association added.
