Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said that "a restricted zone outside the Strait of Hormuz will be declared in the coming days. The zone will start from the U.S. naval blockade line and will include areas in the Persian Gulf. Any ship that enters this new zone will be added to the sanctions list." He later addressed the negotiations with the U.S.: "The Americans must earn Iran's trust in order to continue negotiations."
