The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on Monday will begin examining claims that Israel is violating international law by preventing humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip. During the ICJ hearing, approximately 40 different countries are expected to appear before the panel of judges over five days to present their arguments on the matter. Although Israel is the subject of the ICJ discussions this week, no Israeli representative will present its position at the hearing.
