“Regardless of the circumstances, we will remain brothers and one nation, in one country. The threats of the Zionist occupation and its government since 1948 will not remain unanswered. We hold the Zionist entity fully responsible for this crime, as the constant racial incitement of its senior government officials against our people, sowed the seeds for this crime.”
The statement went on to say that “Hamas fears the cooperation between extremist settlers and the Israeli government may open the door for even worse crimes.”
“What is happening in al-Aqsa serves as proof of this cooperation, which aims to erase the Palestinian nation’s identity, expel it from its land and destroy its holy sites,” the statement said.
