Radicals say goodbye (VIDEO): Two right-wing activists were arrested on suspicion of incitement after participating in the funeral Shfaram terrorist Eden Natan Zada Sunday in the Tel Aviv suburb of Rishon Lezion.
Before the pair was arrested, other friends also eulogized Zada, saying they hoped his act would serve as an example “for other committed Jews.”
One added, “he surely read this week’s Torah portion, that gives instructions for how we can continue to live in Israel.”
“We must get rid of foreigners who live here,” they said.
Another one said, “Eden read the Torah and didn’t rationalize or negotiate. He took action and gained revenge, and that is holy.”
Large police protection
A large police contingent provided security for Zada’s funeral, which was attended by many radical right-wing activists.
Dozens of officers lined the funeral route and deployed around the cemetery in order to root out suspicious behavior immediately.
