Mike Brant
Born Moshe Brand, Mike was one of the chosen few who made it big in the international music scene. For the Israel of the mid-'70s, his look was considered impressive and glamorous. Brant introduced sex appeal to the puritan atmosphere of the kibbutz.
The son of Holocaust survivors, he did not utter a single word until the age of 5. Yet when he started singing, girls in the audience fainted. Some of those girls still visit his grave despite the more than 30 years that have passed since he jumped to his death from the balcony of his Paris apartment in 1975.
Assi Dayan
Dayan, son of Moshe Dayan – a woman's favorite in his own right - was the ultimate sabra. He appeared in John Huston's A Walk With Love And Death (1969) with Angelica Huston and was considered one of the best-looking men in Israel.
Recently he exposed his body in an ad campaign that received a lot of criticism.
Amos Gutman
Gutman was a prince who brought some European class to the Levant. He came out of the closet in the '70s but because of his mesmerizing, angelic features, women continued to try and "convert" him. His movies were as beautiful as he was, filled with esthetics and style. Gutman died in 1993 from Aids.
Amos Oz
The intellectual type no woman can resist. One of the pioneers of the sensitive macho type, women fascinate him and this fascination and understanding is evident in the female characters in his books.
Shlomo Artzi
Girls have loved him since he played with the Navy's band. It is amazing how his looks improved with the passing years. Artzi is the Israeli man. Full stop. He grew up with the country and did not choose a self- destructive path.
Mohammad Bakri
Tel Aviv's women could not resist the charm of the Arab actor's blue eyes. The dark scar added to the appeal. He still looks great, although ever since he became a political activist, it's more difficult for the girls to picture bringing him home to mom.
Golan Fuxman
No need for words. Just look at him.
Henri David
The pet Russian of the hour. Finally the sexual potential of the immigrants' community is becoming evident with representatives a bit better looking than Sharansky and Lieberman.
