Arcadi Gaydamak and Lev Leviev are trading in their private planes for new, improved models.
Gaydamak, as Yedioth Ahronot revealed Wednesday, will trade his Galaxy business jet with a Gulfstream model. Considered the latest rage in private executive jets, the Gulfstream is worth about $52 million.
Leviev has also chosen to let his Galaxy go in favor of Gulfstream, but his model is slightly more modest than Gaydamak's, and will come in at about $35 million.
Leviev's jet has custom made features such as satellite phones and a state of the art computer system.
Leviev has been quoted in the past as saying that a private plane is crucial for him, since his diamond business keeps him traveling and he prefers to spend Shabbat in Israel.
Among other Israeli business people who have their own private jet are Yitzhak Tshuva, Sheri Arison, Eliezer Fishman and Alfred Akirov, who recently bought a $27 million jet.
