The Knesset will hold a special recess session soon to discuss Syrian President Bashar Assad's recent visit to Iran. The Likud faction initiated the discussion, titled "Assad's visit to Tehran and the diplomatic amateurism of the Olmert-Livni-Barak government."
Likud faction chairman, Knesset Member Gideon Sa'ar, said that "Assad's visit to Tehran and his statement on its right to nukes ridicule the delusional negotiations the government is conducting with Assad." (Amnon Meranda)
