Hanoch Daum recounts bizarre incident involving former employee of Ms. Netanyahu
At the beginning of last week I was interviewed on a morning show in respect to the affair involving Ms. Sara Netanyahu’s former maid,
Lillian.
I was quite despaired at that point. There are quite a few people who quit their jobs because they are unhappy with their employers. Yet if this ancient story was not about Ms. Netanyahu, nobody would bother to bring up this tale, which is quite dubious in my view, in order to regurgitate it all over again 12 years after it was done the first time.
I was sitting there with another former employee, an older and well-groomed lady who spoke about her own experience working for Ms. Netanyahu during Bibi’s first term in office. She said that she too was subjected to yelling and screaming from Netanyahu’s wife.

After we left the studio, I shared an elevator with the lady who joined me at the show. This is excellent, she told me - we can go on arguing here. I don’t think so, I told her with fatigue. I am all for moving on and going on with our lives.
Bizarre elevator scene
By that time, the elevator reached the ground floor. I was supposed to continue down to the underground parking lot, but the lady kept standing there at the entrance to the elevator, with its door opening and closing every few seconds; she then started to explain another aspect of the issue in question to me.
Would you mind clearing the elevator so I can go down? I asked politely. Yet the lady suddenly yelled out: You will only be using the elevator when I tell you to do so! Now you will listen to everything I have to say here.
It was a bizarre situation. In fact, the lady kept me in the elevator for more than a minute even though I had no desire whatsoever to keep talking to her. It was an aggressive act, but most of all a very odd one.
One is only left to wonder about the kind of indictment this lady would have filed against Ms. Netanyahu, had the prime minister’s wife done something similar.
