Thirty-three of the 35 right-wing activists arrested in Jericho Sunday after breaking through an IDF barrier and barricading themselves in a synagogue in the city were released on Monday.
The rightists were questioned by the Judea and Samaria District Police for violating a military order and entering Area A.
The police said indictments are to be filed against all the suspects.
Two other detainees, a youth and a man, were kept in custody on suspicions of assaulting an IDF officer and Border Guard officer, and are slated to be arraigned at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Meanwhile, right-wing activists have filed a complaint with the Police Investigations Unit claiming violence from the Border Guard officers.
The incident occurred around 6:30 pm Sunday, when rightists broke through IDF checkpoints in the West Bank and entered Jericho. They broke into the Naaran Synagogue in the city and planted an Israeli flag.
Hours later, they were evacuated by IDF and Border Guard forces, who had to manually lift them into a bus as they lay on the floor passive. The suspects were transferred to police for questioning.
A Border Guard officer, an IDF officer and three right-wing activists were lightly injured in the incident. The activists also slashed the tires of a Border Guard jeep.
The IDF expressed fury with the rightists and stated that the incident "could have become complicated and dangerous" and endangered lives.
