Israeli scuba divers found a suspicious object under the water Saturday just off the coast of Eilat, near Almog Beach. Ynet has learned that police believe the object is one of the rockets fired towards the southern city Thursday.
Eilat Police say the object was found at 30 meters and fits the description of a rocket. It is currently being brought to the surface.

Authorities examining whether rocket, believed to be fired from Sinai, was aimed at Eilat. Another rocket lands in Red Sea. No injuries reported in incident
The area has been closed off and swimming, sailing, and diving are currently prohibited. Police alerted an IDF unit from central Israel, and the soldiers are making their way towards the southern city. The IDF Spokesperson's Office has confirmed the report.
Three rockets were fired towards Eilat early Thursday morning. One of them exploded in Aqaba's industrial zone, in Jordan, without causing injury or damage. Another rocket, believed to be 107 mm, fell into the Red Sea.
The suspected dud was found by two civilians performing a deep dive. They reported the find to authorities, who sent a special unit of Navy divers to search for it.
The find is an important step in the investigation held by security forces attempting to ascertain who fired the rockets and the location from which they were launched.
