Suspected spy Makhoul to remain in custody until Thursday
The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court has extended until Thursday the remand of Ameer Mahkoul, who has been under arrest for the past 12 days on suspicion of espionage and contacting a foreign agent.
Makhoul's lawyers were allowed to meet with their client but avoided referring to the investigation due to a gag order placed on the affair. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
